“ I had an excellent experience at RCH! All the people are great to deal with! Let me elaborate: I own my own business and have been around for a while... The "G_ Aut_" style of cookie cutter, we can "manage" your desires into our bland, one size fits all, (actually just fits us, you don't matter) approach is soooo annoying. RCH was so different! 1. The whole team have ears that work! They listened to my questions and responded to those rather than some canned script. 2. They heard my vehicle "requirements" and guided me through the maze of options to the correct unit FOR ME. EVEN IF IT WAS NOT ON THEIR LOT at the time. 3. Being a CPA, they worked with my approach to the deal rather than "shoe horning" me into the "standard" approach. And they adjusted their usual methods to accommodate my wishes. 4. Also, regarding the contract, they worked with me through the timing of some of the events, perhaps unique to my situation, and needs. Speaking of timing, there were a number of moving parts to this deal, (trade in, after market items, etc.) that took me over a week to finalize the deal. They were always accommodating and never pushy. 5. The finance part of the deal was also pleasant. This is often an area I have not liked in previous purchases. It was informational without the "hurry up and sign" crap. With family in the industry and RCH's assistance again we arrived at a basket of goods that worked for me at a good price. 6. She listened to what I was looking for then she gave me her advice. On day 1, I couldn't go for a test drive because I was heading to work , so I had to schedule another visit after identifying a car with . On my second visit, I met Robert, such an amazing soul, very patient and very kind. I had been accompanied by my friend as we went for our first test drive with Robert. He was calm, quiet and patient with us. We asked him, how far we should go and he calmly answered until you are satisfied... Then we started the finance process but again, I was heading to work so I left the processing continuing with Adam and scheduled another 3rd visit.On my 3rd visit, they had a better car for me and this time round, they trusted my friend and I to go for the test drive on our own lol. They were certain, they were giving us a good deal hence no reservations. After the process was done. I couldn't get time off from work to pick the car. Robert graciously delivered the car at my work place and helped me fix the number plate despite the cold weather on the day he delivered the vehicle, he was still patient with me and calmly answered my questions. “ ***THE WORST PLACE TO GO TO FINANCE A VEHICLE*** Im giving this a 1 star for the 1% of good customer service that i did get! In 2023 i financed a 2020 vehicle with them and the sales person was great (as they all are). The financials were RIDICULOUS…..nearly 30,000 for a used car that was already 3 years old.. at the time, i needed a vehicle being new to Canada and all so i got it. However, i was told the car would only have 1 month’s warranty. Less than a week later the car that they said was “up- to par/ up to seller’s standards” started giving me issues….. I took it back…… they said nothing was wrong. I would take it back as other issues seemed to go wrong. I wont elaborate on the poor customer service i received from managers every time i came to get the car looked at. I wont even elaborate on the “perks/ coverages” that i was paying for that every time i needed to use it….. it was denied. I would keep up with the servicing…… only to see the engine light come on after a while. A few weeks ago, that engine light started blinking and has been parked ever since because it was recommended not to drive. Fast forward to today……. they called me in to do a trade. being skeptical, i hesitated but i went in….. picked a car and test drove it. Came to an agreement for a new biweekly payment amount (so i thought). They “appraised” the old vehicle and some way somehow, came to the conclusion that there were soooo much things wrong with the vehicle and that it miraculously needed an engine; the vehicle i got from them only 2 years prior; the vehicle that was driven less than 40,000 km a year; the vehicle that they kept telling me “nothing is wrong”; the vehicle that i kept serviced!!!! What that meant was that the financials for the new vehicle would look very different from what i agreed to. After, they ‘miraculously’ found so much issues with the the old car, they wanted me to find a co-signer for a $500 biweekly payment for 89 months which would mean that altogether i would have been paying $89,000 for a used vehicle; a 2024 vehicle that by the time i would've been done paying for it, the car would be 11- 12 years old! I don't know why they think that its cool to bamboozle people into paying such ridiculous amounts FOR USED CARS!!!! The good in me, hoped that for the wrong they did me with the 1st car, that they would do me justice the 2nd time around. Instead, every department worked together to try and bamboozle me out of $89,000. I wont even elaborate on how they missed placed my vehicle’s registration document and gave me a hard time reimbursing me for it!!! Its sad, its wicked, its distasteful, its unprofessional!!! AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! They are not to be trusted in any regard ”

You referred to my husband as if he is the decision maker several times. Second mistake. I make my own decisions. You were told many times over the course of the evening that I can't financially handle payments of more than what I'm paying because even those are higher than I could handle after the last mess River City left me in. You have repeatedly disregarded that. Then you went and spoke to your manager. With my key fob in hand. You came back with numbers that are entirely too high by twice (once again ignoring my financial situation) and when I laughed at your numbers and said no you proceeded to tell me my car was on its last legs and unreliable "the gravity of the situation" and "engine problems" came out of your mouth. Then you told me to wait for my husband to get back from the bathroom. Dude. This is my car. My money. My transaction and the year is 2026. When I asked for my key fob back no less than three times, no one would give it to me so I could leave. And may I remind you that I wasn't actively seeking a different car? This was all you. I am quite happy with mine. I left you instructions to EMAIL me if you could come up with a better deal or a better car. Matching my payments. You have called me and texted me instead. I know Hyundai has my email on file. Now you are still working on that vehicle and asking me, long after I have said "No" to come to a middle ground? And you are still coming to me with the same car and payments $70 more than I am paying biweekly? I don't need to meet you in the middle because I don't need this car. Nor do I want to continue this conversation as I have already stated I am not interested. What will it take for you to hear me? A copy of this text to your manager? A copy put in a Google Review? I am a loyal Hyundai owner. It is a great brand. But I am no longer a River City customer." ”
